Man stable after riding scooter into traffic

June 30, 2010A 40-year-old man is in stable condition after being hit as he rode a scooter, DeKalb County police said.
Police aren't sure why the man rode into traffic near the intersection of Mcafee Road and Willa Drive, Officer Jason Gagnon told the AJC.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, Gagnon said.
No charges have been filed in the incident.
