A man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the face about 1 a.m. Saturday, police said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was approached at 1482 Monteel Drive in northwest Atlanta, police spokesman Sgt. John Chafee said.

“Someone pulled up beside him and shot him,” Chafee said.

While the man was in stable condition, he could not provide a description to police of the suspect or the suspect’s car.
