A man is in critical condition after being shot Saturday morning at a convenience store in southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police said the victim, who has not been identified, was found lying inside a Citgo store in the 3500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. He had been shot multiple times, was bleeding profusely and unconscious. He has not been able to communicate with investigators.

Police are looking for three suspects seen with the victim on surveillance video.

According to police, the suspects and victim arrived at the Citgo in a black Nissan Maxima. The victim remained outside near the store's gas pumps while the three others -- a black male, black female, and white male -- entered the store and appeared to be planning a robbery. The black male later exited the store and shot the victim during an argument.

The shooter fled in a vehicle, while the other two suspects fled on foot, police said.

The shooter is described as a black male, wearing a white oversized T-shirt, blue jeans, and designer sneakers. He appears to have a mohawk and some facial hair surrounding his mouth.
