Fulton County Police are investigating the death of a man killed in a robbery at a hotel near Six Flags Over Georgia early Saturday.
The man was shot twice in the back at about 2:15 a.m. in the parking lot of the Skyway Inn and Suites on Frederick Drive, according to Police Cpl. Kay Lester. The man, who has not been identified, appears to be in his 30s and his wallet was missing.
A worker at the hotel, about a mile from the theme park, said that the victim had been visiting guests there.
The incident remains under investigation.
