A man died Saturday while working at a Georgia Power plant in Monroe County, federal officials said.

Trevor Bryan, 20, died Saturday night after the incident that happened about 4:30 p.m., Monroe County Coroner Joey Proctor told the Macon Telegraph.

It happened at Plant Scherer in Juliette, according to officials of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Details about the incident were not clear, but “I know he was hit in the head with some type of equipment,” Proctor said.

Bryan was a contractor and not a Georgia Power employee, OSHA officials said.

The investigation is ongoing.
