A man was sentenced to life plus five years in prison for killing a man in a dispute over money, the Fulton County District Attorney's office announced Friday.

Joshua Clark, 23, was convicted by a jury Thursday on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Authorities said Clark fatally shot 30-year-old Jermaine McNeil on Jan. 24, 2009 outside an apartment building on West Woodberry Avenue in East Point.

The men were in a fistfight when Clark pulled out a gun and shot McNeil in the head, witnesses said.

Two days after the shooting, Clark turned himself in, authorities said.
