The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a 24-year-old Warner Robins man who went overboard early Monday on a cruise near the Bahamas.

Surveillance video on the Carnival Elation showed Kevin Wellons, who was on a cruise with his wife, “going overboard from the 11th deck,” according to a news release from the coast guard.

Wellons’ wife reported him missing about 8:30 a.m. after the ship docked in Nassau, the newspaper reported.

Authorities believe Wellons fell off the ship about six hours before his wife reported him missing, according to a news release from the U.S. Coast Guard.
