A man was recently added to the Atlanta Police Department's "most wanted" list for an alleged carjacking that took place in Inman Park two years ago.

A man and a woman were leaving a restaurant when two young men came up behind them, brandishing guns and demanding their cell phones and car keys, according to a May 24, 2016 police report. The victims told police that they complied and saw the men drive away in the woman’s vehicle.

Deangelo Leaks, 22, was later identified as one of the suspects.

The incident took place near 287 Elizabeth St. NE.

Anyone with information on the case may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest and indictment.
