A man charged in connection with his wife’s killing in Pennsylvania was arrested in Atlanta on Wednesday after a stabbing incident at a homeless shelter here.

Phillip Daniel Greenhowe, 37, was being sought by authorities in the Harrisburg, Pa., area in connection with the fatal stabbing of Shalamar Greenhowe, 27, when the Atlanta incident occurred.

Shalamar Greenhowe's body was found Saturday at an apartment in Harrisburg, according to Pennlive.com. Police there filed a criminal homicide charge against Phillip Greenhowe.

On Wednesday, Atlanta police went to a homeless shelter on Peachtree Street after getting a report of a dispute involving Greenhowe and another man.

Police said the man said Greenhowe attacked him with a knife. Both men were bleeding when police arrived and were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police said there was a warrant for Greenhowe in Pennsylvania for criminal homicide and simple assault. He was charged with aggravated battery. He was treated at Grady and then taken into custody by Grady Detention.
