Man, 53, accused of sexting

A 53-year-old Fayette County man is accused of sending illicit pictures of himself to strangers.

Thurmon Henry Jones, of Fayetteville, faces five felony counts of distributing obscene materials depicting nudity, according to Investigator Brent Rowan with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. He was arrested June 30 and released from the Fayette County jail Thursday after posting $56,000 bond.

Jones allegedly used his cell phone to send nude pictures of himself to three victims in Fayette County. Jones did not know the people he sent the pictures to, Rowan said. He allegedly sent the pictures June 13, June 20, and June 27, police said.
