Police are looking for a man accused of walking into several stores east Cobb County and rubbing himself against female employees.
Shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, the man entered Southern Soles at The Avenue East Cobb and tried to rub himself against a female before leaving the store in a silver Toyota Solara, said Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb police. The Toyota had damage to rear quarter panel, Pierce said.
But the suspect wasn't done, police said.
A man with the same description also entered White House/Black Market, Justice for Girls, Chico’s and Victoria Secret during the next three hours and did the same thing to other female employees, Pierce said. A surveillance camera at one of the stores helped link him to the crimes, police said.
The man is described as a black male, 5-feet-5 inches tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds, police said. He was described as being between 29-33 years of age with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing dark dress pants and a white, long sleeve, button-down shirt at the time of the crimes.
"The safety and security of our tenants, employees and customers is our top priority," said Cousins Properties, which owns The Avenue East Cobb, in a statement. We are cooperating fully with Cobb County investigators on this unfortunate matter. An incident like this has never happened on our property before and we take it very seriously."
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Cobb police at 770-499-3900.
