Loe leaves Fulton as school super

Jan 7, 2011Cindy Loe, superintendent of Fulton County schools since April 2008, announced Thursday afternoon that she'll be retiring at the end of the school year for family reasons.
She was the county's fifth permanent superintendent since 1995.
Loe broke the news to members of the school board in a specially called executive session. She leaves education after 30 years as a teacher and administrator.
