Digital Atlanta will host "Sharpie Slam: A Live Art Battle" on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6:30-9 p.m. at The Sound Table, 485 Edgewood Ave N.E. in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The event, part of the weeklong Digital Atlanta series, is a live art competition between two teams of Atlanta artists, who will use interior 6′ x 8′ walls at The Sound Table as their canvass. The teams will have 90 minutes to cover a backdrop using only Sharpie permanent markers and paint markers. Teams will learn the artistic theme just prior to beginning. The winning team will be awarded $500.
