Library sponsors altered book art competition, workshop

The Gwinnett County Public Library will sponsor a free altered book art techniques workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 12 at The Hudgens Center for the Arts, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Building 300,
Duluth.

The library and arts center also are sponsoring an altered book competition. Local artists can submit altered books to any Gwinnett County Public Library branch through April 9. Judging will occur in May. The winning and honorable mention artworks will be displayed at the arts center in June.
