Library friends need volunteers for book sale
The Friends of the Cobb County Public Library System needs volunteers to help sell donated books, magazines and movies at the semi-annual book sale next Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Items go for 10 cents to five dollars. The sales last year generated more than $80,000 for new library materials.
