StreetWise Georgia recognizes there are many federal workers who have been furloughed or are currently working without pay. Lawrenceville and StreetWise Georgia would like to provide food and household items to federal workers through a StreetWise Care Pantry distribution operation.

StreetWise Care Pantry will set-up a mobile operation 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the parking lot of Lawrenceville City Hall, 70 S. Clayton St. Any federal employee currently furloughed or working without pay may participate. Participants must have verifiable federal employee identification with them to receive food/supplies.

StreetWise Care Pantry will have food/supplies to serve a maximum of 200 participants. As supplies last, eligible participants will receive a bag or box of frozen meat, a box of can/dry goods, several boxes of cereal, and a bag of household and personal items, as needed.
