The Lawrenceville Municipal Court will conduct a Warrant Amnesty Program for unpaid “Failure to Appear” and “Probation Violation” warrants through Nov. 30. Individuals who voluntarily appear in person to pay outstanding warrants in full will have warrant fees waived up to $200.

All warrants must be paid in full by cash, credit/debit card, money order, or by certified check. Individuals must contact the Municipal Court office at 770-963-3288 to obtain the amount needed to clear their warrant.

The Lawrenceville Police Department is actively looking for those individuals who have outstanding warrants. Lawrenceville is pleased to offer this amnesty period and hopes individuals will take advantage of this opportunity. At the time of clearing the warrant, individuals with suspended licenses will be given paperwork to clear their license with the Department of Driver Services.

Healthcare at College Park, a nursing home in Fulton County, GA, stands shuttered with its door chained on July 26, 2025, having closed in recent months. Researchers at Brown University developed a list of U.S. nursing homes they predicted were at risk of closing based on 2023 data, and would be at elevated risk of closing due to the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act's cuts to Medicaid. Healthcare at College Park was on their list. It survived past its last federal inspection in August of 2024 but has now closed down. The bill's biggest provisions will roll out over years starting Jan. 1. (Ariel Hart/AJC)
