The Latin American Association (LAA) will recognize leaders who promote change though giving and serving next week at its 22nd annual Compañeros Awards Luncheon.
The luncheon is at 11 a.m. April 21 at the Georgia Aquarium Oceans Ballroom in Atlanta. Among award recipients are Rocio Woody, who provides behavioral health and substance abuse services for Latino women (for community leadership), State Rep. Pedro Marin (for public service), UPS (for exemplary corporate leadership) and Rafael Romo of CNN International (for media excellence).
