Two more maintenance and construction projects are in progress in Peachtree City.

Lake Kedron’s water level has been temporarily lowered so that a contractor can recoat the pilings and sway bracing of the lake’s bridge. Fayette County is also scheduling dock maintenance during the same period, and a timeline for completion will be issued later.

At Drake Field next to City Hall, construction zone fencing has been put in place so that work can begin on a new 2,200-square-foot pavilion, whose completion is expected by July 4, weather permitting. Pavilion construction will cost $280,000.
