Atlanta Division Kroger stores will host several campaigns in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The campaign will help funds for breast cancer screening, treatment and education and increase awareness.

Among the initiatives: from Sept. 30 through Oct. 27, Kroger customers can buy pink paper ribbons for $1 at checkout, with sales benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Two Kroger Atlanta Division associates – and breast cancer survivors – will also be honored on national-brand products and in-store promotional materials as part of the campaign. Annette Teagle of Newnan will appear on Pepsi standees at select Kroger stores and Gwen Williams of Dublin will be featured on Pillsbury Toaster Strudel packages and a promotional billboard.
