Kroger is hiring nearly 500 people in metro Atlanta amid a new push to add 11,000 workers to its ranks.

Kroger announced the hiring push on Tuesday. Nearly 2,000 of the 11,000 jobs are management positions, according to a company release.

The jobs in metro Atlanta are in counties including Fulton, Gwinnett, DeKalb, Cobb and Forsyth. They range from hourly grocery and stocking associates to pharmacy technicians and management.

There are 486 jobs listed within 50 miles of downtown Atlanta. Those interested in a job at Kroger should visit jobs.kroger.com.
