Kevin Hart plans last-minute 5K race in Piedmont Park

Kevin Hart is in the mood for a run again. And this time, it’s in Atlanta.
The famous comedian tweeted Thursday evening that he would be hosting a spontaneous 5K run at 8:15 a.m. Friday in Piedmont Park at the Charles Allen Gate. Don’t want to break a sweat that early? Sorry — Hart requested on his Twitter feed that you “only come if you plan on running.”
As random as it seems, Friday’s run in the park isn’t the first time Hart has hosted an impromptu race. @KevinHart4real tweeted a similar announcement to his 19.5 million followers Saturday evening requesting people join him for a 5K in Boston.
The unplanned runs are a part of Hart’s new partnership with the wellness app Rally Health, for which he is serving as a brand representative by promoting the #RallyWithKevin campaign on Twitter while on his “What Now” tour. Hart’s next stop is at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Friday.
