Kennesaw is asking citizens to take an online survey at the city considers changes in sanitation service.

Changes under consideration include reducing the number of vehicles and personnel, going to one-day-a-week garbage collection, moving brush collection to Monday and charging for collecting bulk materials such large limbs and furniture. The city may start putting accounts in the names of property owners rather than renters.

Kennesaw said the changes are necessary because of increased landfill fees imposed by the state and federal governments and rising fuel costs.

To take the survey, go to the city Web site at www.kennesaw-ga.gov.
