Alorica, which bills itself as a leading provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, will add about 1,000 new employees by the end of the year.

The majority of openings are for inbound customer service representatives. About 700 of the positions will be seasonal employment, with the remaining 300 being permanent positions, said Brooks Mathis, vice president of economic development for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. The company already employs about 1,200 people at its Kennesaw facility, where the new hires will also be located.

A job fair for the new positions is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the company's Kennesaw location, 1000 Cobb Place Blvd. Two other job fairs are scheduled for 5p.m.-9 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 28.

Alorica received no incentives from the Kennesaw, Cobb County or the Cobb Development Authority, Mathis said, but the company will be eligible for state incentives, including job tax credits on full-time, permanent positions.
