Johns Creek joins other Georgia communities in a summer staple Saturday as it opens its farmers' market near the community garden in Newtown Park.  The market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Saturdays until Sept. 10.

There will be space for 32 vendors, each selling locally grown produce that is certified organic, certified naturally grown or sustainably grown. The market will be managed by Green Team Farmer’s Markets, which coordinates farmers’ markets at Home Depot, Kimberly Clark, and LexisNexis corporate offices.
