Johns Creek has awarded a $110,989 contract to make concrete repairs on nine streets around the city.

Georgia Management Agency Inc. was selected to repair 1,750 square yards of sidewalk, 450 linear feet of curbs and gutters, and catch basin tops and accessibility ramps on Medlock Bridge, McGinnis Ferry, State Bridge, Sargent, Morton, Findley, Taylor, Buice and Parsons roads, as well as in several subdivisions.

The work addresses safety concerns raised by concrete failures reported by citizens and city workers, according to a staff report to the council. The contractor will be required to remove identified areas of concrete, stabilize the base, and replace structures using materials approved by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
