Johns Creek to dedicate community garden

The event will feature master gardeners demonstrating how to set up composting bins and rain barrels and get the most out of gardening space.

Volunteers finished building the 39 raised beds May 15. The garden includes some beds 36 inches high so older gardeners won’t have to stoop so much.

The garden was built by a team from Leadership Johns Creek, a nonprofit group that performs service projects and provides learning experiences for rising civic and business leaders.
