Input sought on pre-disaster plan

Cobb County residents are asked to submit recommendations to update the county’s pre-disaster mitigation plan.

The current plan was adopted and approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in 2006. The plan must be reviewed and updated every five years to be eligible for federal hazard mitigation funds. The plan includes natural and technological risks facing the community and ways to lessen damage should a disaster occur.
