Hurricane Matthew delays Mickey Mouse's Mall of Georgia appearance

Thousands of people's travel plans have been impacted by Hurricane Matthew — including those of Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The appearance by the beloved characters at the Mall of Georgia Disney Store's grand reopening ceremony Saturday has been postponed to Oct. 29 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Von Maur court.

The rest of the grand opening festivities will take place as planned this Saturday.

We regret to inform you that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be unable to attend the Disney Store Grand Opening...
