If you have a sneaky premonition that you’ll be craving soup tomorrow, you’re in luck: Panera Bread is delivering the stuff for free in metro Atlanta.

Every Panera delivery order will include the option to receive a free cup of soup — the chain's most popular item — with the code "PANERADELIVERS" on Wednesday, a press release said. A $5 order minimum and $3 delivery service fee applies.

The promotion comes as Panera announces its expansion of national delivery. Last July, the chain was looking to hire 358 employees to expand its delivery service to the Atlanta area.

The company employs its own drivers in every market as opposed to using third-party delivery services, in order “to help ensure a better delivery experience,” the statement said.

Some of the Panera cafes in metro Atlanta offering delivery are:

• 1080 Peachtree St. NE

• 1544 Piedmont Ave. NE

• 1545 N Decatur Road

• 2274 Peachtree Road NE

• 2311 North Druid Hills Road NE

• 3714 Roswell Road

• 3625 Spring Hill Parkway SE

• 2100 Henderson Mill Road

Confirm whether your local Panera delivers and see the delivery menu here. (The chain offers delivery for its entire lunch and dinner menu.)

Delivery service is available within an eight-minute drive of a Panera location. Cafes generally deliver between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week.
