Smyrna police are seeking the public's help as they investigate an early morning shooting Tuesday that left a homeless man fatally wounded.
Police said they responded to a complaint of shots fired at about 2:20 p.m. at the Wyndcliff at Galleria Apartments, on the 2300 block of Cobb Parkway.
Officers found Warren Broadnax, 55, in the parking lot of the complex, police said. The man had been shot multiple times.
Broadnax was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is to be performed later Tuesday by the Cobb County Medical Examiner's office.
Police said Broadnax was living in his car in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
