Atlanta City Councilman H. Lamar Willis, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and State Farm Insurance Co. will host a homebuyers education workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. The event will be held at Jean Childs Young Middle School, 3116 Benjamin E. Mays Dr. Participants will have the opportunity to earn the qualifying certificate to participate in any of the down payment assistance programs throughout Georgia. Participants must complete the entire workshop to receive a certificate, according to organizers.
