Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton are set to visit Decatur next month for a reading of their new picture book.

The mother-daughter duo is set to release "Grandma's Gardens," a children's book about family and gardening, on March 31.

The April 7 event at the First Baptist Church of Decatur is being put on by the Georgia Center for the Book and Little Shop of Stories, the Decatur-based independent children's bookstore. It will feature a reading of the book followed by a photo line where attendees can meet the Clintons.

Tickets for the reading portion of the event, which begins at 4:30 p.m., are already sold out, but some photo line-only tickets are still available online. They come with one copy of "Grandma's Gardens."

The former secretary of state and presidential candidate collaborated with her daughter last year on “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.”

Their new picture book was inspired by Dorothy Rodham, Hillary’s mother and Chelsea’s grandmother.

More details about the event are available on Little Shop of Stories' website.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
