A beloved Atlanta brunch spot is coming to Cobb County.

Highland Bakery & Kitchen will open a location at Modera Vinings, the new 269-unit apartment, mixed-use facility at 3205 Cumberland Boulevard.

It is expected to open in early 2019, according to a news release.

Highland Bakery got its start as a coffee cart, and this Cobb opening makes 11 locations. It’s known for its sweet potato pancakes along with shrimp and grits.

The bakery and restaurant will join Kale Me Crazy at Modera, which people started moving into during early August.

The move would allow open containers on Friday and Saturday evenings for one year.
