Henry police cars, equipment approved

The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved nearly $800,000 in expenditures for the police department at its April 21 regular meeting. The board approved mobile radio and in-car video packages as well as computers and equipment for 27 vehicles and 17 SWAT ballistic vests. Also approved was the purchase of the remaining 15 Dodge Chargers scheduled to be acquired under the latest SPLOST.
