Henry County to install new jail cameras

The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted Nov. 17 to provide nine additional surveillance cameras in the visitation area of the county jail.

The sheriff’s department identified a need for the new equipment after a deal was approved in January for installation of other cameras and related equipment. The $15,825 needed to finish the job will come from SPLOST funds.
