Every day of trash and recycling pickup in DeKalb County next week will be altered due to Veterans Day.

The county’s Sanitation Division will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 in observance of the holiday. As a result, the schedule for garbage, recycling and yard trimmings collection will be shifted a day for the rest of next week:

  • If your regular collection day is Monday, your trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
  • If your regular collection day is Tuesday, your trash and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
  • If your regular collection day is Wednesday, your trash and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, Nov. 14.
  • If your regular collection day is Thursday, your trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday, Nov. 15.

The Sanitation Division’s administrative office, Central and North Transfer Stations and Seminole Road Landfill will also be closed on Monday.
