Hamilton Mill library receives green building certification

The Gwinnett County Public Library’s Hamilton Mill branch has received a LEED gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The certification honors the design, construction and operation of environmentally sustainable buildings. The Hamilton Mill branch, which opened last May, is the first public library in Georgia to receive the gold certification.
