On Friday afternoon, there’s an “enhanced risk for strong/severe storms” in metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Katie Walls.

Outdoor events, including  Food Truck Friday and Flicks on the Bricks, both in Duluth, are still on for now. There's a 60 percent chance of storms Friday, with the possibility of "strong, gusty winds" and hail formation, according to Channel 2. Friday's high is 89 degrees, and it will remain humid through the day.

The threat of rain is lower on Saturday, with only a 30 percent chance, according to Channel 2. The high will remain strong at 89, making for a warm day to attend a free screening of "Black Panther" at the Mall of Georgia.

The chances of rain go back up to 60 percent on Sunday, but the heat will hang on, with a high of 88 degrees. If the rain holds off, it could be a good opportunity to catch some sun at one of Gwinnett County's public pools.
