The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the United Way of Metro Atlanta and the Regional Commission on Homelessness to provide services for homeless inmates following their release from jail.

The released inmates will receive shelter, drug treatment, job skills training and crime prevention classes. The cost of the program will be covered by money from the agency’s drug asset forfeitures account.
