Gwinnett searching for poll officials, especially bilingual candidates

On Election Day, approximately 3,000 Gwinnett citizens will be working as poll officials. These officials are an essential part of ensuring the ongoing success of the electoral process.
Gwinnett County Voter Registrations and Elections is looking for individuals to work as Clerks, Poll Managers, and Assistant Poll Managers in various upcoming elections. According to the county’s website, “Poll Officials should be citizens who take pride in their work, are willing to take direction, are detail oriented and patient, enjoy working with people, and are both judicious and intelligent.”
Poll officials must be at least 16 years of age, a U.S. Citizen and a resident of Gwinnett County or Gwinnett County Government employee (not Board of Education). Candidates must also be able to read, write, and speak English, but being bilingual, especially Spanish, is a plus.
