A woman arrested in connection with a series of armored car heists was ordered held without bond on two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery Friday during her first court appearance at the Gwinnett County Jail.

Desiree Jones, 26, is the sixth person arrested in connection with the the robberies. Gwinnett Magistrate Phyllis Russell set Jones' first appearance hearing for April 27.

Five suspects in the case -- four men and a woman -- are already under arrest and being held at three metro Atlanta jails. Jones' child was fathered by suspect Stacey Lamont Dooley.

Jones also is charged with insurance fraud and false report of a crime in another case, police said Thursday. When police searched her home, they found a vehicle she had reported stolen years earlier and had claimed insurance money on, Smith said.

In another turn in the case, police filed a third conspiracy charge against Dooley and suspects Quinton Lamar Booker and Ashley Henderson. They are being held in the Gwinnett jail.

Dooley and Henderson have also been charged with murder and aggravated assault in the March 15 shooting death of armored car guard Gary Castillo outside a Kroger store in Toco Hill.

The other suspects are Veronica Bullard and Edward Thornton. Bullard is being held in Cobb County and Thornton is in jail in DeKalb County.

Additional charges are pending, police said Thursday.
