More than 30 nonprofit groups in Gwinnett County have been selected to receive $1,000 grants from Wells Fargo as part of its "Days of Giving" program in Atlanta.
The donations to the groups will be distributed at five community breakfasts across Atlanta. Among the groups receiving checks are the Duluth Elite Mentoring Campaign, Gwinnett Children's Shelter and Rainbow Village.
On Monday, a total of 52 groups from Gwinnett and surrounding areas were honored at a breakfast at the 1818 Club in Duluth.
