The Gwinnett Medical Centers in Lawrenceville and Duluth have been honored by the Georgia Hospital Association for their treatment of patients.
The association's Partnership for Health and Accountability named the two Gwinnett facilities to its quality honor roll and are among 56 hospitals around the state placed in the Presidential category, one of the highest on the list.
According to the association, the facilities were chosen for the honor roll based on clinical data collected from July 2009 to June 2010 and provided by the federal Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.
