Gwinnett man drowns in Lake Lanier

March 17, 2011The man who drowned in Lake Lanier on Wednesday afternoon has been identified as Roy Belrose.
Belrose, 66, a resident of Lakeview Drive in Buford, was discovered by a neighbor, who called 911, a Gwinnett police spokesman said.
Authorities said no one had reported Belrose missing.
Police said there is nothing to indicate foul play.
