Gwinnett man dies in Forsyth car crash
A Gwinnett County man died early Friday morning in a two-car crash in Forsyth County. The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 9 and Pendley Road.
The man, who police has not been identified pending notification of kin, was driving northbound on Highway 9. He ran through a red traffic light at the intersection at Pendley Road, and collided with the woman who was making a left turn at the light, said Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Karleen Chalker.
The woman was taken to North Fulton Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, Chalker said.
