Gwinnett hosts biking, skateboarding event for kids

Gwinnett County will host a “ready to roll” skateboarding and biking event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 11 at Duncan Creek Park, 3700 Braselton Highway, Dacula.
Kids and teens can learn bike safety, get a helmet fitting and meet representatives of the Gwinnett County police and fire departments. Skateboarders can watch demonstrations and compete in a contest with prizes. Participants should bring their own bikes, skateboards and helmets.
