Aldi is reopening its Centerville Highway store in Snellville, and you could win free groceries if you show up for the celebration.

The Aldi at 3340 Centerville Highway is opening on Thursday, Nov. 15 after undergoing renovations. The store’s upgrades include a new “emphasis on fresh, organic and easy-to-prepare options,”a spokesman said.

In Snellville, you can celebrate the store’s remodel bright and early at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, when the ribbon will be cut and the store will officially reopen. Everybody who visits the store on that day will be eligible to win free produce for a year. One shopper will be chosen at random at the end of the day and receive a gift card worth the average cost of a year’s worth of Aldi produce.

Once reopened, the store will operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
