Group pushing for school calendar change
The calendar dispute in the Cobb County Schools hasn't disappeared.
An anonymous group recently established a Website called "Cobb Parents" and this week posted a request for visitors to sign an online petition. The petition calls for the return of the so-called "balanced" calendar that was abandoned by the school board last year.
The site -- sites.google.com/site/cobbparents --notes that the school board meetings on Wednesday and in February are the last where changes to next year's calendar can be considered.
