Grant helps reimburse DeKalb patient transport

A grant from the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission will help reimburse DeKalb County’s spending on uncompensated ambulance transports done in 2009.

The $45,640 will go to the budget of DeKalb County Fire Rescue, which provided the trips. It is the first time the county has won such a reimbursement.
